Sherra eared her degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UC Davis. As an undergraduate she worked in the Gosh lab at the VA Medical Center in Mather, CA on studying the effects of rapamycin and bicalutamide on breast cancer. She also looked at the effects of vitamin D on and its regulatory effects on both AR and VDR in prostate cancer. Sherra has over 10 years of research experience in both the academic and industrial setting.
