Sasha has over 10 years experience working in the biotech industry, both at big pharmaceutical companies as well as small startups. At Roche Molecular she served as lead principal scientist researching and developing DNA based diagnostic assays. As a scientific collaborator with Gene and Cell Technologies she worked on developing recombinant protein production methods. At Berlex Laboratories as a pharmacology associate, working closely with animals in the oncology department. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Genetic Engineering from the University of California in Santa Barbara. She believes that the multidisciplinary approach established at BIOAGE is fundamental to discovering the next breakthrough in extending human healthspan.
